If you are experiencing problems after installing Citrix Workspace please use the Cleanup Utility

  1. Download the Citrix Workspace app for Windows
  2. Open the downloaded Citrix Workspace installer file by double-clicking on it
  3. Preparing your device for workspace
  4. Click the "Continue" button to start the installation process
  5. Click the checkbox labelled "I agree" and then click the "Continue" button
  6. Tick the install Microsoft Teams VDI Plugin only and then the “Install” button
  7. Click the “I agree” button to proceed with the installation
  8. Please wait while the Citrix Workspace is being installed
  9. When the installation is completed, to add an account in the "Welcome to Citrix Workspace" window, type 'ubs.com/remoteaccess' and click "Continue".
  1. Download the Citrix Workspace app for Mac
  2. Open the downloaded Citrix Workspace installer file by double-clicking on it
  3. Double-click the "Install Citrix Workspace" icon to start the installation process
  4. Click "Continue" at the top of the window to determine if the app can be installed on your computer, and then click "Continue" in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  5. Read the Welcome message, and then click "Continue" in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  6. Read the message regarding the Software License Agreement, and then click "Continue" in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  7. Click the "Agree" button to accept the software license agreement
  8. Choose the “install for all users of this computer” and click “Continue”
  9. Tick “Citrix Enterprise Browser” and click “Continue”
  10. Click the "Install" button in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  11. To give the software permission to be installed on your Mac, use Touch ID (if your Mac supports it) or click "Use Password" and enter your Mac password
  12. Select "Add Account" checkbox if available and click "Continue"
    b. To add an account in the "Welcome to Citrix Workspace" window, type 'ubs.com/remoteaccess' and click "Continue".
  13. You have successfully installed the Citrix Workspace on your Mac. Click the Close button to close the installation window.

  1. Download the Citrix HDX RealTime Media Engine for Windows
  2. Open the downloaded installer file by double-clicking on it
  3. Read the Welcome message, then Click the "Next" button to continue the installation
  4. Click the checkbox labelled "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" and then click the "Next" button in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  5. Click the "Install" button in the bottom-right corner of the window to begin the installation
  6. The installation is now complete. Click the "Finish" button to close the window
  1. Download the Citrix HDX RealTime Media Engine for Mac
  2. Open the downloaded installer file by double-clicking on it
  3. Double-click the cardboard box icon to start the installation process
  4. Click "Continue" at the top of the window to determine if the app can be installed on your computer, and then click "Continue" in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  5. Read the Welcome message, and then click "Continue" in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  6. Read the Software License Agreement, and then click "Continue" in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  7. Click the "Agree" button to accept the software license agreement
  8. Click the "Install" button in the bottom-right corner of the window to proceed with the installation
  9. To give the software permission to be installed on your Mac, use Touch ID (if your Mac supports it) or click "Use Password" and enter your Mac password
  10. You have successfully installed the Citrix HDX RealTime Media Engine on your Mac. Click the Close button to close the window

  1. warning Important: If you intend to make & receive Zoom calls from your Workspace desktop, please download the Zoom HDX Media Engine for Windows - this is optional software, and should only be installed by users who use the Zoom app on their UBS Workspace desktop
  2. Open the downloaded Zoom HDX installer file by double-clicking on it
  3. Click "Next"
  4. Click "Next"
  5. Click "Next"
  6. If you are prompted with the below click "Retry".
  7. 'Click "Close" to finish the installation, if you are prompted to restart click "Yes"

  2. Open the downloaded installer file by double-clicking on it
  3. Double-click the ZoomVDI icon to start the installation proceed
  4. Click "Continue"
  5. Click "Install"
  6. Click anywhere on the box 'Installer is trying install new software' to bring this window to spotlight and Use Touch ID or Password to continue installation:
  7. You will see below screen during the installation, no action required here
  8. Click "Close" to finish the installation



  1. Click on the link to download the cleanup utility- ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe
  2. Close any open sessions to “UBS Workspace” by exiting the Citrix Workspace App client in taskbar application by right clicking on the blue icon.
  3. Open your file explorer and navigate to the location where you've downloaded the cleanup utility.
  4. Right-click on the ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe file and select 'Run as Administrator.'
  5. When the utility starts running, it will prompt you to confirm that you've closed any open applications. You can proceed by pressing any key. The ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe will then clean up any preexisting installations of the Workspace App. Please wait until you see the message 'Press any key to Exit.
  6. After pressing the key to exit, please make sure to reboot your desktop machine before attempting to follow the subsequent installation instructions.
  7. Post uninstallation of the Citrix Workspace App you will need to also remove the “Microsoft Teams VDI Citrix plugin” which can be done by following below steps.
  8. Save your work and close any active Citrix sessions. Please click on your windows start menu
  9. Type “appwiz.cpl” into the start menu search bar and click the best match
  10. Use the search bar in the Programs and Features menu to search for Citrix and right click on “Microsoft Teams VDI Citrix plugin” and click uninstall
  11. If you receive a popup to allow this app to make changes to your device please click “Yes”
  12. Below window should appear and uninstall process should take place
  13. No additional Citrix products should be visible post Citrix cleanup script and following the above instructions

  2. Using the drop-down menu, log in using one of the available authentication methods.
